Edwina Julia Schelde, age 68, of Columbia Heights. Loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend who died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 14, 2001 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Preceded in death by her father, Edward Novak and her sister, Janet Oien. She is survived by her husband, Marty; her mother, Julia Novak; her daughters, Pam (Scott) Ranta, Lynn (Bill) Zuidema and Mary Wehrman; her grandsons, Blake, Mitchell and Clayton; her brother, Tom (Jean) Novak and many other wonderful relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, 12/18, from 6-8 pm at Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be held Wed., 12/19, 1 pm at Church of St. Hedwig, 129 29th Av NE Mpls, 612-789-4830. 763-560-3100
