Webster Joyce Walters Webster, age 83, of Deephaven, passed away February 20, 2003. Preceded in death by her mother, Florence; brother, Lyman and her loving husband, Henry. She was a wonderful wife, had many caring friends and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and recent great-grandmother. Survived by children, George and wife, Barbara of Deephaven, Henry "Skip" and wife, Julie of Deephaven, Joyce "Joy" Peterson and husband, Matthew of Edina and Charles and wife, Ann of Long Lake; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Joyce was the owner of Wayzata's Corner Door for over 35 years remaining active even through her difficult illness. She loved her business and was inspired by the loyalty of her employees and her diverse customer base. She was an enthusiastic community volunteer and served on leadership boards of the Mpls Junior League, Abbott-Northwestern Hospital and the Minnesota Women's Golf Assoc. Her generous spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, March 1 at the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland at Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
