Akason Joyce Newton of Edina. Born 02/28/16 at Pembina, ND. Died 09/29/02 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Prededed in death by her husband, Edward; son, Duncan, and sisters, Eve and Willa. Survived by her son, Andrew and wife Trish of NYC; sister, Betty Maddock of Sun City, AZ; nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and good friends. Body donated to the University of Minnesota. Any memorials may be sent to the Joyce Akason Scholarship Fund at the LNB Community Centers, 1925 Nicollet Av, Mpls, MN 55403.
