McCarty Joyce C., age 69, of 103 Star St E. #14, Maple Lake, MN, passed away August 16, 2002. Gathering of relatives and friends will be from 1-3 PM on Wed., Aug. 21 at her home. Joyce Carol McCarty was born March 30, 1933 in Minneapolis to Victor and Irene (Tornes) Nelson. She married Ronald L. McCarty in 1953. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was a homemaker and lived in the Minneapolis area most of her life before moving to Maple Lake 20 years ago. Joyce is survived by 3 children, Randy (Kathy) of Grand Rapids, MN, Robin (Robert) Mady of Overland Park, KS, Scott (Deborah) of Zimmerman, MN; and 7 grandchildren.
