Martin Joyce (Flakne), born Jan. 29, 1929, died unexpectedly Feb. 5, 2003 in Oceanside, CA. Survived by husband of 53 years, Larry "Snork"; daughter, Carol (Chris) Hunter of Helena, MT; sons, Larry (Linda) of Brooklyn Park and Dan (Julie) of Maple Grove; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Joyce loved life, her family and traveling. She worked for 20+ years at Donaldson's Brookdale until her retirement. She traveled extensively all over the world making friends wherever she went. For the past 10 years, Larry and Joyce had spent the winters in Oceanside, CA. She is greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at St. Austin's Catholic Church, 40th & Thomas Ave N., Mpls. on Sat., May 24 at 10 AM with visitation 1/2 hour prior. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
