Szymczak (Shimshock) Josephine, age 64, of NE Mpls., passed away peacefully in her home on Jan. 6. Preceded in death by parents, Frank & Marie; and brother, Walter. Survived by brothers, Bernard (Jane) Szymczak, and George Shimshock; and many nieces & nephews. ''Jo Jo'' was a long time employee of F.W. Woolworth, where her warm and caring personality earned her many friends and acquaintances. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and relatives. Funeral service Wed. 9:15 AM from Kapala-Glodek NE Chapel, 13th Ave & 3rd St. NE, Mpls. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 17th & University Ave NE. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 PM, with a vigil service at 6 PM at the funeral home. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Kapala-Glodek 612-378-1331
