Evans Joseph T. Evans, age 84, died Friday, July 25, after a brief illness. Loving father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed by family and friends. Survived by daughter, Esme Evans (Melvyn Jones); step-daughter, Marya Hage; grandsons, Sam and Charlie Jones; sister, Marion Risser; and brother, Charles. Teacher, singer and actor, his easy grace and warmth brightened every room, lightened every heart. Memorial service Sunday, August 3, 3 pm at Walker Chapel, 3737 Bryant Ave. S., Mpls. 612-827-5931
