Parendo Joseph Paul Parendo, 57, died peacefully Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at St. Louis Park Plaza Healthcare Center. He was born June 20, 1944 to John and Gerda Parendo in Duluth, Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Tina Abt (Vince) of Albuquerque, NM, and Shelly of Maple Grove, MN; two grandchildren, Zachary and Austin; mother, Gerda; three brothers, Peter, John and Jim; one sister, Mary and families. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2002, at 11 am at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN. Interment will take place at a later date in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. There will be reception following the service.
