Survived by wife, Donna; 4 children, Julie McDowell, Carmen Stalpes, Tim Stalpes, and Chris Stalpes; and 4 grandchildren, Eric, Samantha, Nick and Phil. Service 11 AM Fri., 3/14 at Ft. Snelling Chapel in Richfield, 494 to Hwy 5 West, take Historic Site exit and follow signs to Chapel.
