Joseph M. Ryan Obituary

Ryan Joseph M., of St. Therese Residence in New Hope, died peacefully on August 9. He was born September 5, 1918 in Bowman, ND. During WWII he served in the Army Air Corps where he taught radio mechanics. Following his marriage to Elizabeth Ann (nee Wandrey), he earned his Electrical Engineering degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison. Joe is survived by Elizabeth "Betty," his wife of 62 years; children, Patrick (Betsy) Ryan, Sr. Rosemary Ryan, MMS, Elizabeth Ryan, Jane (David) Templeton, John (Rita) Ryan, Jim (Rose) Ryan and Dennis Ryan; grandchildren, Sean, Abby, Megan, Kelly, Patrick, Brigid, Kevin, Dan, T.J., Molly, Katy, Paulina, Colin, Mike and Barry. His parents, brother and three sisters preceded him in death. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Parish Community Church, 8701 36th Ave N, New Hope. Visitation TONIGHT 6-8 PM with prayer service at 7 PM at Kapala-Glodek- Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Medical Mission Sisters or St. Therese Residence. KAPALA-GLODEK MALONE 763-535-4112
