Taft Jon E., age 18, of Bloomington, died unexpectedly Dec. 9, 2002. He enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite place was ''God's country,'' his grandfather's lake home. Preceded in death by grandmothers, Millie Aulwes and Jane Taft. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Joanne; father, Ed; grandfathers, Phillip Aulwes and Bob Taft; aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Memorial service 7 pm, visitation 6:30 pm Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S., Edina. 952-924-4100
