John R. Johnson Obituary

Johnson John ''Jack'' R., age 73, of Mpls. Jack began his career with Dayton's as a men's fashion illustrator and continued as an illustrator for 30 years with Spectrum Studio. He was an avid golfer and handball player. Preceded in death by parents, John & Lulu Johnson and brother, Robert. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Eudora; son, Martin of Salinas, CA; daughter, Jill (Tom) Johnson-Amoruso of Marlborough, MA; sister, Dorothy (Jim) Whitcomb of Scottsdale, AZ; sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson of Santa Rosa, CA; nieces and nephew. Memorial service 2 pm Tuesday at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, 420 S. Cedar Lake Rd. Private interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
