John M. Whitney Obituary
Whitney John M. Whitney, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, NM and formerly of Mpls, MN, died Monday, July 14, 2003. His wife of 50 years, Adaline Whitney of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Diane Riley and husband, Ed of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Brenda Riley of Albuquerque, NM and Brian Riley of El Paso, TX; and five great- grandchildren survive him. Mr. Whitney was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Albuquerque with his wife in 1984. He was a musician who played in his own band and belonged to the Musicians Union at one time. He was also a member of Mpls Teamsters Union. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM.
