John M. Padden Obituary

Padden John M., age 76, of St. Paul, died on March 3, 2002. Preceded in death by sister, Catherine Smith; brothers-in-law, Harry Smith & Ervin Belisle; niece, Mary Belisle. Survived by loving wife, Beverly; children, Diane Winkler & husband Richard, Linda Padden Wiborg & husband Dan, Colleen Weins & husband Larry, Michael Padden; grandchildren, Allison & Andrew Winkler, Lucas Wiborg, Connor Weins; also sister, Rosemary Belisle. John was owner and operator of Midtown Plumbing & Heating Inc., in St. Paul for 40 years when a stroke in 1996 forced him to retire. He enjoyed and took pride in his work and the people he worked for and considered them his friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Thursday at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH in Steiner Hall (324 S. Prior Ave. at Stanford, St. Paul). Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at O'HALLORAN & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul) 651-698-0796. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
