Gardner John Lloyd Gardner, 55, died peacefully March 13, 2003, surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by father, Ward. Survived by mother, Uva; brother, Roger; sisters, Amy (Marc) and Kathy (Tim); wife, Penelope; daughter, Leah (Manuel); nieces, Brooke(Dave) and Heather; nephew, Oliver; grandnieces, Sarah, Jessica & Kristen; grand nephew, Eric. John worked for the Mpls Park & Recreation Board from 1985 -1998 in School Age Child Care and in the forestry division, as an arborist from 1998 to present. John will be remembered for his gentle nature, love of children, music, sports, cinema, and a new-found enthusiasm for identifying trees.
