Matulis John J. Sr., of Oaklawn, Illinois. Born March 19, 1922, passed away peacefully March 22, 2002 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was preceded in death just 7 weeks ago by his wife of 55 years, Lou Matulis. He is survived by sons, John and Jerry Matulis and their wives, Valerie and Marilyn; grandchildren, Kristen and Scott Nicholson, Jennifer Matulis & fiance Brad Markwell, Jeremy, Jeffrey, and Matthew Matulis; and great-grandson, Cole Nicholson. Funeral services will be held at St. Gerald's Catholic Church, Oaklawn, Illinois Tuesday, March 26, at 10 AM. Memorials preferred to Pillars Hospice for the John J. Matulis Scholarship Fund, 6025 Upper 35th St. N., Oakdale, MN 55128.
