Keefe John Herbert, born October 10, 1921 in St. Paul, MN, passed away December 29, 2002 in Tacoma, WA. He lived in Minneapolis, MN until 1992 when he moved to Tacoma. He enjoyed boating and fishing in the Puget Sound. John served in the Army as an MP in WWII in Africa and Italy, attaining the rank of Sgt. He was partner and owner of Hopkins Moving & Storage for many years. Survivors include sons, Daniel, Timothy, John and William Keefe; sisters, Mary Bourget and Patty Ryan; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Herbert & Hazel Keefe; and brother, Phillip Keefe in WWII. At his request, there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. Arrangements by Tuell-McKee Funeral Home, 253-272-1414.
