Schmitt, John Gregory age 76, of Gordon, Wisconsin, formerly of St. Paul & Farmington, Minnesota, died Thursday, September 18th at the Baldwin Care Center in Baldwin. Complete notice appeared Sunday. A Celebration of John's Life will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 23rd at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 Walnut Street, Farmington, MN with Pastor Brent Berkesch officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis with active casketbearers being his former comrades; the Metropolitan Airport Commission Fire Department. Honorary casketbearers, too many to count, are his family, countless friends, and neighbors.
