John Franklin Ertmann Obituary

Ertmann John Franklin Ertmann, 75, of Eagan, MN, passed away on March 29, 2003. He served his country in the US Army from 1946-48. A television pioneer. He was a producer and director at WBBM and WGN in Chicago beginning in 1952. In 1967 he moved to the New York City area to join VIS, producing Medical programs influencing a generation of physicians. He is survived by sons, John, Thomas and wife Doretta, and Peter; daughter, Catherine and husband Brian Johnson; grandchildren, Ryan and Jennifer. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday April 2, 2003 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, Apple Valley Chapel, 147th and Garrett Ave with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling.
