Carson John F., age 88, longtime resident of Golden Valley. Survived by wife, Helen; son, Jack (Cathy); daughters, Nancy Joiner (Jerry) and Mary Marshall (Wells); grandchildren, Beth George (Jamey), Brad Joiner, Andy Joiner and Erin Joiner. John served in the Army in the Pacific Theater, retiring as Colonel in the Army Reserve. He worked at Wyeth Laboratories from 1949 until his retirement as regional manager in 1975. He was a charter member of the Golden Valley Country Club and active in the Shriners. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 1 PM at the Church of St. Margaret Mary, 2301 Zenith Ave., Golden Valley. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511
