Komarek, John E. Age 56, of Monticello, died tragically in a car accident on August 20, 2008. John is survived by his life partner, Linda Smith; mother, Lee and her husband Steve Fabian; sister, Linda Busch; and nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father, John; sister, Mary Yelk; and grandparents. Big John was a man who was larger than life. He loved nature and was a craftsman whose creative abilities were evident in his words and wood creations. A combined visitation and funeral at Silver Creek Community Church, 4282 114th St NW, Silver Creek, will be Sunday August 24, 2008 from 4 PM to 8 PM with a service at 7 PM.
