Fischer John C., of Mpls. Preceded in death by father, William. Survived by mother, Verna; sisters, Patricia and Elizabeth Fischer, and Janice (Dwayne) Fischer-Noggle; nephew, James Fischer. John was a long-time employee of WCCO-TV. Memorials preferred to U of M Organ Transplant Foundation. Interment Fair Haven, MN. Funeral service Saturday, 9 am at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S., Mpls. Visitation one hour prior to service at church, and also Friday, 5-8 pm at: WERNESS BROTHERS 3500 West 50th Street 612-927-8641
