Preceded in death by father, John E.; and grandparents, Ralph & Helene Hayes and Harold & Idella Baxter. Survived by wife, Marilyn; mother, Carol Hayes; sister, Judy Blando; brother, Steven (Kathie) Hayes; nephews, Daniel (Pam) Blando, Scott Blando, Michael Blando, Christopher (Tinsley) Hayes, Matthew (Julie) Hayes; mother-in-law, Bertha Sweeney. Funeral services TUESDAY, 1 PM at First United Methodist Church, Aberdeen, SD (605-225-5680). Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Iroquois, SD.
