John A. Peterson, age 75, of Mpls., died January 3, 2002. Former Director of the LAMAW, Dist. 77. Former board member of M.A.C. and Delta Dental. He was preceded in death by loving wife of 50 years, Muriel. He will be missed by son, Steven (Florence) Peterson of Mpls.; grandchildren, Judith (Craig) Miller, Richard Thompson, Justin Peterson, Kathryn Peterson; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ivan (Lorraine), Paul (Delores), James (Jean), Jack (Kathy), Betty Makowsky; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many lifelong friends. Memorial Service 11:30 AM Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave S., Mpls., with interment to follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 1 hr before service.
