John A. Harshman Obituary

Harshman John A., died Monday, March 25, 2002 at Cleburne, Texas. Mr. Harshman was born November 17, 1921 in Tomato, Arkansas, to Thomas Andrew Harshman and Lilly Cobb Harshman. Married June Elizabeth Kline on May 6, 1944 at Washington, D.C. He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Holiday, Florida. He was a resident of Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota for 15 years and a resident of Holiday, Florida for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Harshman was Manager and Owner of a Restaurant from 1963 until 1988. Survivors include three sons, Daniel Harshman and Gerald Harshman, both of Cleburne, Thomas Harshman of Superior, CO; two daughters, Celia Harshman of New Brighton, MN and Paula Hoglund of Andover, MN; one brother, Glen Harshman of North Carolina; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Saturday, April 6, 2002 at 11 AM in Dobies Funeral Home Chapel in Holiday, Florida. Burial will be in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Holiday, Florida. Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday before the Service at Dobies Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lion Hospice, 1816 Norwood Dr., Hurst, Texas 76054. The Dobies Funeral Home of Holiday, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
