Robb, John Maugridge (Mac) A man of many fond nicknames died on April 11th, after a short illness. Born on February 1, 1951, son of William and Chrys-Marie Robb. Graduated from Washburn High School and the University of Minnesota, where he was a member of the Phi Psi Fraternity. He worked in insurance claims adjusting for Zurich Insurance Group and Travelers Indemnity Company, and finished his career working for the State of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry - where he was honored by Governor Walz for his service. Survived by sister Nancy Solum (Rick), aunt Elizabeth Robb, nephews Mike and Tom Solum, and many lifelong friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. A family graveside service is being held, with a celebration of life to be scheduled this coming July.
