He is survived by children, Michael (Dorothy) Smith of St. Paul, MN, Douglas (Beatrice) Smith of Shoreview, MN, David (Laura) Smith of Shorewood, MN, Therese (James) Meinke of Paynesville, MN, James Smith of Mpls, Susan (Dan) Brunes of Shakopee, MN; 7 grandchildren; brother, Donald Smith of Golden Valley, MN. Funeral Mass Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, 10:30 am, St. Joseph, Owatonna. Friends may call at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, Owatonna on Sunday, 2-5 pm. Prayer vigil 3:30 pm. Visitation continues Monday from 9:30-10:15 am at the funeral home.
