Nelson JoAnn J., age 66, of Rush City, formerly of Blaine, lost her 10-year battle with cancer on March 3, 2002. Longtime employee of Office and Professional Union Local #12 and a former member of Meat and Grocery Union #789. Preceded in death by daughter, Debra Ann. Survived by devoted husband of 48 years, Thomas W.; children, Patricia Ann Nelson and Cynthia Marie Cavalier (Duane); five grandchildren, Patrice Nelson, Robert, Jacqueline, Melissa and Suzanne Cavalier. Memorial Mass Saturday, March 9, 2002, 11 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Elm Street in Lino Lakes. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Twin Cities Cremation 612-866-6711
