Jean McMillan Apgar Obituary
Apgar Jean McMillan Apgar of Mount Prospect, IL, died January 31st following an extended illness. Born in St. Paul, she graduated from Central High School and the University of Minnesota. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Over the years she lived in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and then Mt Prospect. She is survived by her husband, Olin of Mt Prospect; children, Geoffrey, Myrina and Andrew; seven grandchildren; and brother, Wesley of Anaheim, CA. In addition to services in Mt Prospect, a Memorial Prayer Service in Jean's memory will be held Sunday, Feb 9, at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 12th St and Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, It will be conducted by Jean's cousin, The Rev. Donald Meisel, Pastor Emeritus of Westminster Church. (Parking available in lot off Marquette Ave between Grant and Marquette. Enter church via side entrance off parking lot.) Memorials in Jean's name may be given to The Hospice of North Shore, 2821 Central St, Evanston, IL 60201-1221
