Hammer Jean Marie, age 74, of Minneapolis, formerly of Richfield, passed away peacefully after a long difficult journey with Alzheimer's Disease. Preceded in death by husband, Sheldon Hammer. Survived by daughters, Sherry Johnson, Pat Dubbe and Mary Wilcke; son, John Johnson and his wife Arletta; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Matteson. She had a love for Elvis, country music, children, medicine, and riding motorcycles, and will be deeply missed. Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave., with visitation the hour before the service. Interment Fort Snelling Nat'l Cemetery. Morris Nilsen Chapel 612-869-3226
