Kokette Jean M. age 72 of Princeton passed away on September 1, 2002. Born Jean M. Method on July 16, 1930 in Centerville, OH and raised in NE Mpls. Married Leonard J. Kokette on October 28, 1950 in Mpls and together raised 10 children. She worked several years at Abbott Northwestern Hospital as a nurses aide and then turned her caring and loving devotion to her ever expanding family. She made her career of being our loving, soft rock and creating family memories. Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Gladys Method; an infant brother; husband, Leonard J. Kokette; sons, Mitchell and Matthew; granddaughter, Lindsay Benson. Survived and greatly loved by sons, Michael (Kathy), Mark (Charlene), Marshall ''Todd'' (Patricia), Marlowe and Murray; daughters, Michele (Kim) Elifrits, Marsha (Wayne) Benson, Melinda (Jamie) Hanson; 9 grandsons; 5 granddaughters; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan White; nephews, nieces, many loving relatives and friends. Memorial service TODAY 11:00 AM at the Peterson-Stohlberg Hillside Chapel, Hwy. 88 & 19th Ave NE, Mpls., with a gathering of friends beginning at 10:30.
