Sutherland, Jean M. April 16, 1923 - July 9, 2019 Former Minneapolis resident, Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed interacting with her great-grandchildren. She was a proud homemaker and nursing assistant. In retirement, Jean enjoyed quilting with Sarah Circle and Lutheran Women of Omaha. Preceded in death by husband, David C. Sutherland II; son, David C. Sutherland III. Survived by daughter Trudy (Thomas) DeKeuster; son, Scott (Debra) Sutherland; grand-children, Craig (Leslie) DeKeuster, Susan (Landon) Belzer, Heather J. Sutherland; great grandchildren, Melanie, Amelia, Dylan, Wyatt and Ryker. Inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis MN, October 11, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Memorials to Lutheran World Relief or your local food pantry.
