Matteson Jane Paetzold Matteson, age 86. Jane Paetzold Matteson died April 15th. Born on May 23, 1916, she attended Summit School and graduated from Vassar College in 1938. Jane also lived with her husband, Robert, and her five children in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Cable, Wisconsin, before returning full circle to Saint Paul in 1989. Jane was a tireless networker in support of the arts: the Penumbre Theatre, the Schubert Club, The Christmas Revels, and The Dakota, co-founding the Dakota Foundation for Jazz Education. Jane will forever be an inspiration and a bright light to all who knew her. Donations may be made on her behalf to The Dakota Foundation for Jazz Education, 1021 E. Bandana Blvd., St. Paul, 55108. Memorial service: Sunday, April 27, 1 pm at St. Clement's Church. The Dakota celebration will follow at 3 pm.
