Bongard Jane Katherine, age 46, of Grant. Preceded in death by father, Howard Walters. Survived by loving husband, Bill; sons, Mike and Jake; mother, Alice Marie; brother, Jonathan (Meg); sister, Jody (Bill); nephews, Chris (Alice) and Matt. Jane was born in Middletown, CT, and attended St. Olaf College. She worked first as a med/surg nurse, and in oncology and hospice care with Fairview Riverside Hospital. Later she worked as a public health nurse in Ramsey County. She found expression as an artist and potter, singing in choirs, playing piano and guitar, and as an avid gardener. She was deeply loved and will be missed by family and many wonderful friends. Memorial service 2 PM Thursday, 3/28/02, St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Hilton Trail & Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi, MN.
