Victoria H. King Obituary

Minnetonka - passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 24, 2025. Vicki was born on Christmas Eve in 1938 in Ortonville, MN to parents Joseph and Hilda King. Five siblings greeted Vicki upon her birth: Joe King, Don King, Herb King, Vivian King Stuck, and Virginia King Balster. An eager learner, she started kindergarten at four years old and continued on to a lifetime of education. After graduating from Ortonville High School, she attended St. Cloud State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Later she received a Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Vicki started her teaching career in Hutchinson, MN, then on to Denver, CO, Coon Rapids, MN and various schools in the Robbinsdale district. She loved working with children and made lifetime friends in teaching. She is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.

Vicki wishes to express her gratitude for the tender hospice care and the unwavering support she received from her neighbors, friends and family.

A celebration of Victoria's life will take place on Monday, November 3rd at St Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth at 11:00, with visitation beginning at 10:00. Lunch will follow the service.
