Lindsay James F., age 84, of St. Paul, died on March 17, 2002. Preceded in death by wife, Patricia (nee Colford) and sister, Patricia Sexton. Survived by sons, Jim (Susan) and Bill (Barbara); grandchildren, Michael (Cheryl), Patrick (Kristin) and Shannon, Lori (James) Friedrichs, Alison, Sara and Joe; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Lynn G. (Danny) Lindsay; sister, Joan Thayer; brother-in-law, William (Jan) Colford and stepmother, Helen Lindsay. Jim was a graduate of Washburn H.S., attended Northwestern University and University of MN and also served his country in WWII. He co-founded Lindsay Soft Water Co. with his father and family and founded L&A Products in 1962. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday at ST. PETER'S HISTORIC CATHOLIC CHURCH (Hwy 13 & Hwy 55, Mendota). Visitation 5-8 PM Friday at O'HALLORAN & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul), 651-698-0796.
