Skokan James E., age 51, of Col. Hgts. Preceded in death by wife, Nancy; father, John and mother, Margot. He died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He will be deeply missed by children, Angel (Roger) LaBrant, James Jr. (Liz), Ann (Devin) Geng and Derek; grandchildren, Denyele, Abby, Grace and Ethan; brothers, David (Dianne), Steve (Joann), John; also nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Sept. 7, at 10:00 AM, St. Phillip's Catholic Church, 2507 Bryant Ave N., Mpls. (612-529-3125). Memorials preferred.
