Grassmann James E., age 62, of New Prague from complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Survived by wife, Marilyn; children, Amy (Jeramie) Olson, Chris (Heather); grandchildren, Brianna & Mitchell; mother, Irma; parents-in-law, Henry & Hazel Swedin; sisters, Marge (Steve) Kulik, Paula (Steve) Bilitz; ''adopted'' sister, Cynthia Brown. Preceded in death by father, Ray. Visitation 4-8 PM Monday at Bruzek Funeral Home, New Prague (952-758-4949), and at church 1 hr. prior to service. Funeral 11 AM Tuesday at Frieden's Lutheran Church, rural New Prague. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
