Canine, James Ralph Age 70. Multiple organ failure sent Jim on final journey; he was tenderly held by friends and family-- Trudy Burnett Canine (wife), Ben, Mike, Chris (sons) and their wives/significant others Amelia, Andrea and Erin. Jim became a Certified Public Accountant upon graduating from the University of Minnesota. He worked for Arthur Anderson followed by a few other CFO roles (Gelco Travel Services, Brown & Bigelow) One day he declared, "I really just want a job where I don't have to wear a suit to work every day." That statement led to a long business partnership with Alan Gingold in the purchase and growth of Lorenz Bus Service, Inc. and in the Twin Cities Flight training school at the Anoka County Airport. His celebration of life happened before he passedan impromptu small gathering of friends and family who shared stories of meaningful moments with Jim and vice versa. He later commented, "This is the stuff that people probably say at wakes, and you don't get to hear it. I got to be present for it now. It was magical."
