Layer Jack D., age 77, of N. Mpls, after a long illness. Longtime Bemis employee. Survived by wife, Shirley; son, Jeffrey (Julie); granddaughters, Holly Ann and Gretchen; sisters, Elvise Layer, Patricia Skiba; caring sister-in-law, Norma Goodman; also nieces & nephews. Special thanks to Chateau Health Care for the care and comfort given to Jack. Funeral service Saturday, 11:30 am at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Pkwy., Mpls.
