Shronts Jack, M.D., age 60, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 17, 2002 in Key West, FL. Recently retired, Jack died unexpectedly of complications of cancer. A graduate of Brown University and University of MN Medical School, he practiced internal medicine in Mpls. for 30 years. Jack was an avid sailor and reader. His tremendous knowledge and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Jack is survived by his wife, Barb; daughters, Gretchen (Les), Sofia; step-son, Nick; sister, Claudia (Warren); brother, Richard (Kelli); grandson, Jackson; nephews, Ross & Paul. Memorials may be made in Jack's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 2695, Key West, FL 33045.
