DeVay Ione Renee, age 64, of Mpls., peacefully passed away at home after a long illness Sept. 18, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Eldred & Ruth Driver; sisters, Patsy Wangelin & Kathy Driver; and brother, Patrick Driver. Survived by husband of 47 years, Richard Paul DeVay; daughters, Lynne (Preston) Otness, Monticello, MN, Diana DeVay (Lynn Simmons), Las Vegas, NV, Gwen DeVay (Randy Peterson), Battle Creek, MI, Bernadette (Woody) Francis, International Falls, MN, Lorna Evenson, Eagan, MN and Amy Thompson, Brooklyn Park; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan (Virginia) Driver, Michael Driver and Mark Driver; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial service Saturday, Sept. 21, 11:00 AM, Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave S., Mpls. (612-825-2435). Memorials preferred to Fairview Hospice. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
