Segerstrom Hope (Esperanza) Johnson. A gentle soul took flight on April 28, 2002. Esperanza (commonly known as Hope) was born in Cayey, P.R. on November 20, 1929, and died in Minneapolis following a massive stroke. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her sister, Virginia; her third husband, Lloyd E. Segerstrom and her second husband, Walter L. Johnson. She is survived by daughter, Doris Munera & husband Dave Brancatelli, Cleveland, OH; daughter, Evie Ausen & husband Robert F. Schaeffer, Kansas City, MO and son, Larry Johnson, Mondovi, WI; as well as by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hope will be privately buried at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery next to her husband, Lloyd Segerstrom. A gathering of family and friends in celebration of her life will take place from 5-8 pm Wed., May 8 at Hope's residence, 12438 Magnolia Street NW, Coon Rapids, MN.
