Jorgensen Helga M. Jorgensen, age 87, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003, while in Cape Coral, Florida. Formerly a resident of 7500 York Ave. S. in Edina. She was preceded in death by husband, Orville J. Jorgensen, and daughter, Carol Lynn Jorgensen. She was born in Minneapolis on December 15, 1915 and will long be remembered for her years of caring and giving to everyone she came in contact with during her 87 wonderful years. She had a heart of gold, a wonderfully quick wit and a loving, caring smile. She was a summer resident of Bay Lake near Deerwood, MN for many years and was known as "Fifi" by some and Mom by many. Primarily a homemaker, she was continually active with many volunteer organizations and activities. She was always proud of her Danish heritage, and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church since 1942. Helga is survived by sisters, Ellen Razwick and Joanne Anderson, both of Seattle, WA; sons, Jay Jorgensen of Clearwater, FL, Richard Jorgensen of Shakopee, MN, and Robert Jorgensen of Cape Coral, FL; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial service Friday, April 4th, 11 AM, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave S, Mpls, 55409. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
