Aretz Helen Maeser Aretz, age 91, born June 2, 1911, passed away June 24, 2002. Helen is preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Carlton G. Maeser and Eugene ''Gene'' Aretz; parents; 7 brothers & sisters. She is survived by her children, Jeanne Granlund & her husband Dick, Marilyn Zimmerman, Sue Gilmer & her husband Larry; as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 brother, Howard Meyers & his wife Louise; and a special friend, Al Stende. Memorial service Thursday, June 27, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Careview Home, Lund Chapel, 5517 Lyndale Ave S., Mpls. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
