Bernu Helen K. Bernu, age 94, of Robbinsdale. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest; daughter, Joyce; brother, Paul; infant grandsons, Carter and Dawvyn. Survived by son, Rodney (Beverly); grandchildren, Mark (Renee) Bernu, Heidi (Brad) Honey; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Carmen, Bennett; and 3 brothers. Christian Burial Sat. 1 PM, Apostolic Lutheran Church, New York Mills, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, New York Mills, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Mpls. Children's Hospital NICU. Karvonen Funeral Home, 218-385-2345
