Helgeson Hazel Hartsburg Helgeson, age 93, of Holland, MI, formerly of Geneva, IL and Edina, MN, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at the Inn at Freedom Village. She was the wife of the late John Helgeson and loving mother of daughters, Ann Kiewel of Holland, MI, and Karen Dacey of West Newton, MA; sons-in-law, James and Timothy; grandchildren, Cara & Jonathan Kiewel and Katherine & Claire Darcey; and her sister, Helen Rule. She attended Knox College and graduated from the University of WI. She was an art teacher and devoted much of her life to, and was recognized for her work on behalf of educational and cultural organizations. A family service will be held in Sugar Grove, IL.
