Harmony Ethelyn Levin Obituary

Levin Harmony Ethelyn Levin, age 68, of St Louis Park died Thursday, February 20, 2003 after a long battle with diabetes. Preceded in death by parents, Sol & Jennie Rivkin. Survived by loving husband, Irving; beloved sons, Mark of St Paul and David of Seattle, WA; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Harmony was married in 1955, the same year she graduated from the U of M summa cum laude as an English major. She was a life-long Democrat, conservationist, activist for women's rights, human rights and a woman's right to choose. She was very active in the 44th District and served many years as treasurer to State Senator Gloria Segal prior to Gloria's death. The family would like to especially thank cousin, Judith Rivkin and long time friend Marsi Herman. Memorials can be sent to the donor's choice or to the American Diabetes Assoc. A meeting to celebrate Harmony's life will be held Sunday, February 23, at 7 pm at the American Cremation Society facility, c/o Washburn-McReavy, 50th St. and Hwy 100, Edina 952-920-3996 "I thank you for the love you each have shown me, but now it's time I traveled alone"
