Glenn Swain, age 79, of Plymouth. Preceded in death by wife, Jean Ellen. Survived by daughters, Nancy (John) Rigstad and Mary Ann (Tim) Swain-Sweeney; brother, Dale Jr.; sister, Patty Amano; grandchildren, Sarah and Elizabeth Rigstad, Emily and Erin Sweeney. Retired from NSP after 35 years. Glenn was a WWII veteran, serving in U.S. Navy on the USS Talbot, USS Lst 484, USS Roper; USS Los Angeles, USS Duluth in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Glenn received 8 stars for serving in 8 major engagements. Visitation Monday, 4-7 pm at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata. Funeral service Tuesday, 10:30 am at St. Edward's Episcopal Church, 865 N. Ferndale Rd., Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Minnesota World War II Veterans Memorial, c/o Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, 206C Veterans Service Building, 20 West 12th Street, St. Paul, MN 55155-2006 or N.C.
