Hammes Gertrude "Gert" age 95. Passed away Feb 21. Lifelong resident of Long Lake. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and grandson, Tim Getten. Survived by daughter, Glenda (Marvin) Getten, Terry Schieffer; son, Jim (Sue); sister, Rose (Lynes) Getten; brother, Phil (Gladys) Reimer; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, many loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday Feb 25 at 11:00 with reviewal 2 hours prior to servie at St. George Catholic Church, Long Lake. Special thanks to the caring staf of the Long Lake Health Care Center.
